I have been playing with the idea of teaching a few classes on home improvement basics. Teaching is my favorite thing to do and i would like to do it more. I could teach basic carpentry, painting like a pro, diy upgrades and what it looks like inside your walls and ceiling among other things. I'm open to suggestions. What would you like to learn?

At 6'6" tall and 7'2" wide this is my biggest door build so far. It will get one more coat of stain once hung. It will take a few of us to move this thing!

This home is turn key ready for new owners. I can't say enough about the love and dedication the present owners have put into their home and property. The yard is amazing. There is an established garden with asparagus and garlic as well as a playscape, above ground pool, hot tub, fire pit and out buildings. The home interior is completely updated with large rooms and fresh paint throughout. This place is an American dream come true. The crew did a great job getting it ready for it's new family.

Hey there Handy Gal fans, friends and fam. I haven't posted much lately because the ladies and I have been super busy remodeling and building stuff. But I have some exciting news to share.

My niece, Juniper, is enrolled in trade school! If you have been paying attention at all you know how important it is to me to support women in the trades. Let's help this awesome young woman by taking off some of the financial pressure so that she can focus on her goals.

Come see us at the farm tomorrow for our outdoor market. Lisa is baking up a storm of cookies, muffins and mini loaves. And she made about a dozen jars of fresh blueberry jam earlier today! We also have pasture raised pork in a variety of cuts including our new cured bacon! I will be leading farm tours and guiding guests through interactions with our variety of farm animals. This week we are featuring Cecil the Llama! If you've never met a llama up close, this is your big chance. We also have a litter or very active piglets. Come join us for some fresh air, good times and a complimentary cup of coffee

I am really proud of this kitchenette. I am especially proud of the custom, handmade countertop. It started as 4 pieces of live edge cedar. The finish is almost perfect.

Check out the progress on this custom cedar countertop. The task of the day is babysitting fresh epoxy resin. 2nd coat is drying now. The finish is like glass and reflects everything in the room.

It's been a while since I posted any of our work. Check out this kitchen floor repair that we did a while back It was a big job with lots and lots of repairs to the joists and subfloor. The new vinyl plank flooring turned out great. The before and after is amazing.
