Everyone loves a good before and after.

We upgraded this early 2000’s living area by….
1. Removing and reframing bookcases
2. Added arches,’ new drywall, repainted
3. Installed walnut shelving and cabinets
4. Added LED lighting
5. New countertops
6. Replaced fireplace with custom stone cast fireplace

We love how fun and cozy this space turned out!

How do you know if your builder is cutting corners?

Here are 3 of the most common areas to double check….

1. Roof- always get a documented roof inspection after install and verify your warranty. Costly leaks are never fun.
2. Waterproofing- with so many people trying to DIY a bathroom renovation, waterproofing often gets skipped or is done incorrectly. Make sure your contractor is completing all the necessary steps for a waterproofed bathroom.
3. Insulation- Are your energy bills always high? In most full home renovations we find incomplete insulation in major areas of the home. Save your self some money and have your insulation upgraded and documented during your renovation.

Four months into our Brookview renovation, here’s what we’ve accomplished:

Demolition, framing, foundation, mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-in, insulation, drywall, flooring, doors and windows and tile.

We have about 5 weeks remaining to complete this home.

While there is a lot left to do, everything is on target to complete by move-in date and we appreciate our clients for all of their trust.
