Every remodel has a story and this one reminded us why we do what we do.
We recently took on a shower remodel for a wonderful elderly homeowner living in her 100+ year-old house in downtown Snoqualmie. Once we began demolition, we uncovered original wood framing that had been there since the home was built… unfortunately, it was severely rotted and needed to be replaced.
This is the part of remodeling people don’t always see, what’s behind the walls. You never truly know what you’ll find until demo begins, and sometimes those surprises can add unexpected costs.
But we believe in doing right by our clients. We understand that situations like this can be overwhelming, especially for those on a fixed income. That’s why we work closely with our homeowners to find fair, realistic solutions without cutting corners.
