Steel septic tanks have been utilized for some time, providing a cost-effective solution, but polyethylene tanks exhibit superior durability, particularly in residences with water softeners. Here are some images from a recent septic installation. The steel tank had corroded extensively in multiple areas, and the drain field was no longer functioning. We replaced it with a new Greer Poly tank and a 50-foot “5-wide”drainage field to provide this customer with long-term service. We hold DEC certification (CI #2575) and are licensed, bonded, and insured to meet all excavation and dirt work needs!
