At Four Winds Field, the playground and splash pad were designed to create an active, welcoming destination beyond the game itself. From early concepts and layout studies to accessibility, safety, drainage, utilities, and final installation, each detail helped shape a space that is fun, functional, and built for community use.

This June, Carter will lead a workshop on freshwater mussels at the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams at Grace College, highlighting the important role these often-overlooked species play in healthy freshwater ecosystems.
