The hardest part of this was trying to make a new piece look aged and distressed, slight mistakes and imperfections for the rustic touch and feel. Really fun build.

Wishing well, well cover. Whoda thunkit? Framing is complete, sheathing it with cedar tomorrow on the roof and sides, then the detailing touches. This was a fun build

Farmhouse style spice rack. Teak oil with hazelnut stain.

Who doesn’t want a nice neat cart that you can move around on your deck when you’re grilling? Still have to add the utensil hooks and a couple more little details, a bunch more sanding, then it’s ready for some finish. Going with a black stain for the top and the rest a nice rustic burn and stain.

Noodle Boards, Stove Covers, Serving Trays. No matter what you call them, I gave it a shot. I’ll be trying different styles but this is the first. Rustic, of course.
