The Onlyone 15' 3" canoe is intended for the experienced backwoods traveler or hunter with more than enough capacity for extended solo trips. It is a joy to portage at a little over 50 pounds. s are made of white ash. Decks are white ash and spanish cedar. Ribs and planking are white cedar. Canvas is lightweight and mildew resistant. The hull is painted with multiple coats of quality enamel and the interior has at least three coats of marine varnish. The Onlyone 15' 3" is a unique, symmetrical and extremely quiet hull. It is 35" wide and 12 1/2" deep with a very slight tumblehome and light rockering at the low ends. The very sharp bow & stern allow for an effortless entry and exit through the water. The open cockpit forward of the center thwart allows the payload to be moved quickly for trimming the hull when adjusting to changing conditions. It is just beamy enough to allow for stability when paddled in a sitting position. But, it does not carry it's fullness very far towards the stems, giving the hull its radical appearance and its speed. It is possible to add a second seat but it is not recommended. The Onlyone 15' 3" has been tested extensively over the past three years on the lakes and rivers of the Adirondack Mts. of New York and on the rivers of Southern Maine. Under load it drew very little water. It proved well suited for where ever it was paddled but it really shined in on beaver infested streams where maneuverability, light weight and durability were a must! This model may be purchased complete or as an unfinished hull for the buyer to complete as he or she desires.
