Finished job! Left is finished, right is what we started with.
Metal firebox removed, firebrick firebox constructed, smoke chamber parged with Chamber Tech 2000, Lock Top damper installed and block profile constructed.

This week we removed an old rusted out Heatilator metal firebox and installed a new firebrick firebox in preparation for the customer installing gas logs. The customer had removed the Profile bricks and wanted a new Profile base laid up so he can install tile. We also parged the smoke chamber with Chamber Tech 2000 to protect and seal the chamber above the firebox and installed a Locktop damper system.

The customer had removed the Profile bricks and wanted a new Profile base laid up so he can install tile and wanted the Profile moved out approximately 4ins. We also parged the smoke chamber with Chamber Tech 2000 to protect and seal the chamber above the firebox.
