This is a little end table made from shop off-cuts. It has a mahogany top, ipe legs, and cherry lock-wedges in the ipe tenons going through the top. The lower legs are held together with brass dowels that don't really show in the pics. This one is more form than function but is plenty sturdy.

This redwood coffee table was made from reclaimed sleeper joists that had been sitting in dirt for 70 years with almost no rot. The 3rd pic shows the floor area from which the sleepers were salvaged. We just couldn't let old-growth redwood go to the landfill. The 4th pic explains the odd bracing we installed in the 3rd pic- the project was technically a remodel.

This was a first for us- antique rope bed! The rails needed to be extended from 70" to a bit over 75" to accommodate a 21st century mattress (box springs weren't invented until the late 1800s). Compromised glue joints were disassembled and re-glued and the mortise and tenon joints tuned up for better stability. We then added new rope and made a straining wrench for tensioning the bed. Ready for another 150 years of service!

This is a walnut wet bar we wrapped up a little while ago. Vintage chicken wire glass in the uppers, book-matched door panels and integrated wood pulls in the lowers. There's also an under counter fridge in the lower right bay that we fully concealed while still allowing for adequate ventilation (and removal). Tile, countertop, and sink selection by Av Elva Sol.
