As the summer has already kicked in gear for me i find myself just trying to hang on for the ride. We are already mid June!!!!

Huge (late) thanks to Liz Edwards for your donation for so many years you have supported me.(as an adult) I’m so grateful for you in my life. Some of my best days as a kid were with you and Joey E. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do supporting my effort here for these veterans.

This cause is near and dear to me and this organization is proven track record for putting money where it needs to go with no funny business and full transparency. Please help our effort to help veterans and their families battle ptsd and traumatic brain injury and the effect of a soldier coming home.

This is my 15th year running and I’m proud to do so today as I was in 2009.

Remembering Janice Furtado .

For all the love and light she was and still is she would be proud of how far this team has come.

15 years ago she encouraged me to align myself with this program and assured me the work they did and progress they where making while also expressing the sad truth of the exponential problem that existed. I took off for the first 5 years and after her passing we created Janice Furtado's Troops in her legacy. The years have flown by and the progress has been made but much work is left to do.

I’m kicking off my fundraising campaign for my 15th year of running and contributing to veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries, as well as the support for their families. Please consider supporting our effort and fulfilling the same encouragement Janice blessed us with as we run the streets of Boston and finish at Fenway parks home plate.

I’ve really been sleeping on this year.

I’m not asking for money yet ……

I want you!!!

To run around Boston and raise money for the first and pilot program in the country for veterans combating, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries. this is the 15th year if you have any interest of crossing home plate running around Boston serve those that have served us I can assure you it will be one of your favorite days of the year. It has been mine for the past 14.

We have nine signed up so far most of which have ran several years some consecutively 90 percent of our team runs more than one year. I’m so grateful for their beautiful presence hard work and commitment to this altruistic movement that has meant so much to myself and those who remember who we run for furtado and the many other heroes in our minds and hearts.
