Martin Implement Sales is a highly regarded construction and turf equipment dealership noted for its personable customer service. The Novak family has been represented at Martin Implement since 1957 when Art Novak purchased interest in the business, having started out as a shop apprentice in 1950. y eighties after completing college. Upon Art’s retirement as President in 1999, the Novak siblings were installed as company officers. Tom became the new President, Bob was named Vice President, and Bruce, Secretary. The three Novak brothers watch over the day to day operations of Martin Implement. Tom oversees the sales department, while Bob is in charge of the rental department, and Bruce is responsible for financial and marketing functions. Steve Martin, whose first position was as an apprentice mechanic in 1971, is now the General Manager and has ownership in the business, as well. In 2009 the company opened a second location in South Elgin which is managed by Brad Beaulieu. A third location followed in Wauconda to serve McHenry, Lake and northern Cook Counties in 2012.
