We are happy to share that Allison Maciejewski was nominated, and a finalist for, the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association’s Annual award. She was one of 12 finalists in the category of Marketing. With 1,000 people in attendance, the awards banquet was an inspirational evening celebrating the hardwork of awesome women!

We were excited to break ground on the new 23,860 square foot Family Athletic Center for the Village of South Holland! The FAC will serve as a community hub for families with an emphasis on ages 5-13. The facility will feature 12,000 square feet of artificial turf offering year round sporting opportunities, as well as batting cages, ping pong tables and a future golf simulator. Faith, family and future are the continual focus of South Holland and JMA is proud to be a part of that mission.

So many wonderful things to share! We are busy living in the moment and behind on posting some fun things happening at JMA Architects.

In the spirit of the Association of Licensed Architects competition, we had our own internal napkin sketch competition. Our winner, Felipe Cajigas, went on to also win the ALA competition as well! Congrats to Felipe! He so incredibly talented, and we are grateful to have him on our team.

Fall in Love with your Business expo— What a great afternoon meeting with and supporting other local businesses! We were also able to visit with the St. John-Dyer Chamber and Lansing Chamber—and we are going to join the Highland-Griffith Chamber! What a wonderfully supportive group of people! This is me of my favorite expos to participate in.

We are always blessed to be associated with such wonderful people! As Helicopter Ball Drop Sponsor for the Lansing Chamber of Commerce’s golf outing, we had the adventure of riding in the helicopter to drop the balls. Jim carried out his job perfectly!
