Down it goes! If you've ever winced at 70's wood paneling walking into an old Tahoe house, you're welcome.

Neighbors out on a stroll stopped to gawk and smile. Drivers craned their necks backward as they drove by. It’s just too entertaining to see old houses destroyed. And the views of the mountains are even better without so many walls in the way.

The hum of the excavator and the crunch of collapsing walls are drowning out the bird songs today. Demolition is underway!

Most of the time you have to walk into a house to see the interior. Not so on demolition day. As the excavator methodically chomped into the roof and carefully pulled down trusses and exterior walls, the rooms of the house were slowly exposed to light, like opening up a dollhouse.

When the views are epic, the location is prime and the lot is huge, but the house is falling apart, it’s time for a complete rebuild. This one’s comin’ all the way down to make room for a stunning new two-level custom home.
