A family built/owned business providing a variety of gardening and landscape products and services to meet the needs for the individual and local business communities. Owner Douglas Strohmer celebrated the groundbreaking ceremonies of his dream Garden Center in March of 2021. In July 2024, he was able to begin serving the public and providing products to see their dream gardens come true!

Have you ever wondered how bees make honey, why pollinators are so important, or what it takes to care for a hive?

Join us this Saturday, June 20th from 11 AM–1 PM for a special FREE community event at Salem Gardens!

We're excited to welcome Jim from Heffernan's Honey & Beekeeping, who will be sharing his knowledge and passion for bees. This open-house style event is perfect for all ages, drop in anytime during the event!

You’ll get to discover the art of beekeeping up close, learn about how bees make honey and why they play such an important role in our environment, as well as get to enjoy a free sample of Heffernan’s delicious honey!

Whether you're a gardening enthusiast, a honey lover, or just looking for a fun and educational outing with the family, we'd love to see you there.

What a magical day at our Fairy Garden Basket Workshop! ✨🧚‍♀️

Back on May 23rd, we welcomed a fantastic group of fairy garden enthusiasts to Salem Gardens, and what an amazing turnout it was!

Our shop was filled with creativity, laughter, community, and plenty of playing in the dirt! 🪏🪴

We love hosting events that bring people together, inspire creativity, and help everyone make lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this workshop such a success!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer, it is a day to reflect on the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave their lives to protect our freedoms 🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful to all who have served and continue to serve our nation, and we hold close the memory of the heroes we honor today.

Salem Gardens will be open 9-5 for anyone needing flowers, garden supplies, trees, or simply a peaceful stroll through the grounds.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day ❤️🤍💙
