Out with the old❌In with the new✅

The first set of (front) tires on the 550 lasted about 50k miles which quite frankly, I couldnt ask for much more. However, there's clearly an alignment issue going on so it's off to Ford to fix the situation.

I assume the PSI rating of 120lbs is the primary cause for the unexpected high price for F-550 tires. They start at $300 and quickly go up from there. First time having to buy some but in order to handle the potential loads that come from such a large truck the tires are built beefy💪🏼

Here's an early mulch job to get the season started! The customer wanted clean, visible edges throughout the landscape beds and a refresher of the property to get him ready for the upcoming months.

We removed 8yds of material from edging, previous mulch, and debris while performing a spring cleanup. Dethatched the lawn. Weeded the beds. Installed 23yds of brown hemlock. And applied preen to help prevent those ever annoying weeds from popping up!

This morning's unexpected snow flurry had me thinking about this past winter's success. Largely in part bc of this new MONSTROUS addition, 's F14 front plow!

I've followed and use and test these for years. While our Fisher V-Plows have done us wonders, it was time to try something new. I'm certainly glad we did!💪🏼

Yesterday was an adventure of splitting wood. In 6 weeks my household ran through a 280gal tank of oil, about an $800 expense. Since then we installed a stand alone wood stove and began using our existing fireplace more to help offset the crazy oil usage.

While we sit on 25acres, we dont have logs cut ready to be split that are adequately seasoned. Thankfully a friend of mine has been clearing his 20acres and is desperately looking to offset their immense wood supply.

We filled the 7x14 dump trailer to the brim with the help of an ole reliable wood splitter and Kubota tractor. The good deeds werent without casualty however😭

Ran over a metallic wedge leaving a far too annoying of a puncture to pinpoint and plug compared to that of a nail anddd I may/may not have ran the tractor into a fender of the trailer😅

Our house is now a comfy 70°+ throughout the day/night as opposed to 64 and done so without relying on our furnace and oil supply. Win win!🔥

Now if only we could get some snow...❄️

Storage can be an issue in certain truck configurations.

At we like to keep the same general items in each truck so the crew knows what's always on hand if need be. Things such as, tow straps, jumper cables, hand wipes, first aid kits, WD-40, mallets and screwdrivers.

The F-550 is one of those truck configurations that doesnt offer much in truck storage. Enter the 18x18x30 Steel Underbody Storage Box. Nice little upgrade giving the crew some piece of mind👌🏼

One bagged mow paired with an edging of the curbs, sidewalks, and walkways...that friend was charged a few extra drinks and meals come said party🍻

Why am I on the roof? Fair question haha

The customer had inquired about cleaning out their gutters along with the Spring cleanup and mulch job so before we got to mulching, a cool aerial shot of the setup we brought to tackle the day💪🏻
