We're excited to show you one of our favorite recent builds....the new community space for Cape Abilities in Dennis! 👏👏

Cape Abilities leaders cut the ribbon on Thursday with several members of the community on hand... we were honored to be given the opportunity to complete this important project...

The event commemorated two decades of growth at Cape Abilities Farm, which has evolved from a small farm stand into one of Cape Cod's most recognized community enterprises. 🍅🥕🫛

The farm was established in 2006 after the Milligan family donated the Route 6A property to Cape Abilities with the vision of creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Today, the farm is a year-round destination featuring greenhouses, a retail market, fresh produce, flowers, plants and locally made goods. At its core, the operation remains dedicated to providing vocational training and employment opportunities while fostering inclusion and community connection.

The new Community Space represents the latest chapter in the farm's development. According to Cape Abilities, the accessible facility will serve as a multi-functional hub where individuals with disabilities can build job skills, participate in vocational activities, take breaks in an inclusive environment and engage with the broader community through classes, events and gatherings.

The 2026 beneficiaries were revealed by The Davenport Companies on May 12th in South Yarmouth and it was announced that the yearly charity F-1 style cart race at Mashpee Commons will surpass $10 million in funding for Cape Cod charitable organizations over the past 25 years…

(SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA – May 12, 2026) – Five Cape Cod non-profit organizations were named on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, as recipients of funding from the upcoming Seaside Le Mans – The Race for the Cape Cod Community.
In addition to revealing the 2026 beneficiaries, it was also announced that the total amount raised since the inception of the race 25 years ago will surpass $10 million donated to Cape Cod non-profit groups, providing funding that has a direct impact on the daily lives of local residents.

Every dollar raised since 2001 has stayed on Cape Cod and benefited local charitable organizations.

THIS YEAR’S BENEFICIARIES AND HOW THEY WILL USE THE FUNDING

-Arts Foundation of Cape Cod – Expanding and Strengthening a Vibrant and Diverse Arts and Culture Sector
-Behavioral Health Innovators – Assisting Youth and Young Adults Facing Substance Use Disorder
-Cape Cod Healthcare – Supporting Comprehensive Care and Services for Cancer Patients and Family
-Family Table Collaborative – Providing Healthy, Prepared Meals for Those in Need on Cape Cod
-Homeless Not Hopeless – Providing Housing, Life Skills, and a Supportive Community for Homeless Individuals.

The Seaside Le Mans – The Race for the Cape Cod Community, features teams of sponsors driving Formula One-style karts during an endurance race on an outdoor track at Mashpee Commons to determine the winner.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Mashpee Commons.
