For this remodel, we paired marble tile, a frameless glass shower, textured wallcovering, custom storage, and warm wood details to create a space that feels welcoming every time the door opens.

This space used to be a much smaller pantry and part of the kitchen. A new layout, custom cabinetry, additional storage, and expanded prep space completely changed how this home functions.

This vanity station was designed around daily routines. Morning skincare, makeup, hair styling, getting ready for dinner, or winding down at night. Everything has a place, and everything is easy to access.

This wine room checks both boxes.

Tucked right off the kitchen, it's always part of the action when friends come over, dinner is getting started, or somebody decides one glass sounds like a good idea on a Friday night.

"Do You Actually Need a Home Office?"

Not the giant executive office with built-ins and a conference table.

Just a place to sit down for 20 minutes without taking over the kitchen table.

Most people don't use them for eight hours a day.

They use them for paying bills, jumping on a quick Zoom call, helping with homework, ordering birthday gifts, booking vacations, handling paperwork, and pretending they'll finally organize that stack of mail.

💻 A dedicated workspace doesn't have to be huge.

🪵 This little desk gives the room a purpose without taking over the entire space.

🪑 Comfortable seating.

📚 A little storage.

🌿 A spot that feels calm enough to focus.

This house feels expensive because the design team knew when to stop. ✨

🏡 The kitchen has a massive island, but the finishes stay calm.

🥂 The coffee bar gets its own dedicated space without turning into a cluttered appliance corner.

🪵 The white cabinetry and warm oak work together and keep the house from feeling sterile.

☀️ Natural light does a lot of the heavy lifting throughout the space.

🍽️ Even the breakfast area feels intentional. A simple round table, oversized windows, and enough room to actually enjoy your morning coffee.

The details matter too.

☀️ Pool season is here, and if your backyard is getting a workout, now’s a good time for a quick safety check.

🏊 Keep a designated water watcher whenever kids are swimming. Even a few distracted seconds can matter.

🚪 Make sure gates and pool access points latch properly every time.

🛟 Keep life jackets, flotation devices, and a first aid kit easy to find.

📱 Keep a charged phone nearby in case of an emergency.

🧹 Clear toys and floats from the pool when swimming is done. Kids often head back toward the water looking for them.

💧 Stay hydrated. North Texas heat doesn’t mess around.

One feature we love on this project is the dedicated pool bathroom just steps from the backyard. 🚿

Wet feet stay out of the main house.

Kids have a place to clean up.

Guests have easy access without tracking water through the living room.

And if someone needs a bandage, sunscreen, or a quick rinse after the pool, everything is right where it should be.

Sometimes the best remodeling decisions are the ones that make summer easier. ☀️🏡

It starts with coffee in the morning.

Then somebody pulls up a stool while dinner’s getting started. 🍳

Kids drop backpacks here. 🎒

Guests lean in with a drink. 🍷

Someone sets down groceries. 🛍️

Somebody else grabs a quick bite before running out the door. 🍽️

The island becomes part workspace, part gathering spot, and part everyday landing zone.

And when it’s sized right like this one, it handles all of it without ever feeling crowded.

✨ Room to sit and stay awhile.

✨ Storage built underneath.

✨ Lighting overhead that keeps it feeling bright and open.
