Picture 1 is the first job of the day. Picture 2 is the second job of the day. Picture 3 is the cleanup from one of yesterday's job and number 4 is what we showed up to at 12:30 today expecting a jobsite ready to pour. Pure muscle from my team today and all week to be honest. Big thanks to everybody that comes out every week to make it all happen. Bill Wilson Sam Rabon Matt Fess me amigo Eli and my beautiful office manager Kelly Rosenberg we all go out for meat everyday to feed what's ours and I can't explain enough how greatful I am to have a team like you at Local Heritage LLC to make it happen.

Material came in today for the step off pad replacement for a pool patio we poured on east beach. Be back next year to re deck the rest of the walkways. This one had to be lowered an inch to evenly transition to the new pool deck.

First time in a year and a half since I've had this van, it left me on the side of the road. Just a simple serpentine bent frayed and came apart. Of any vehicle I have ever owned, especially among the five I do now this 03 econoline 350 with 257 thousand on it has been the best to me of all of them. Thankfully I broke down right in front of sweet old Mr Leonard's house(that Steven West introduced me to a long time ago, i can't remember his last name) on the west end of the island. Of course he walked out, gave me a ride to autozone in Southport, stayed there until the battery would jump back off and wouldn't let me pay him a dime. Just said pay it to the next man you can help. That's true oak island locals stuff. Even got to hear a wise older man's opinions and knowledge about the ridiculousness of what this town and surrounding areas are going through. Thank God for old souls like Mr Leonard.

Still had some water on it so the pictures aren't the greatest. After this long journey the only thing left to do is remove the plastic from the pervious in 7 days. From clearing the lot hand digging the footers laying and filling the block in the heat of the summer to coming back and placing the driveway. Big thanks to Lou Lemus and THL total homes and lawns for all of the help and the team work to make this project come together and stand out. Him and his guys pretty much built a hurricane shelter with the extras and overengineering in the framing. Very very impressive work especially on the finishing touches and details. 2x8 walls and continuous all thread with all the hurricane clips Simpson could offer. 70 yards of concrete and a lot of sweat later we have a happy homeowner. Great jobs guys let's go do another one.
