Hello everyone, good afternoon. As we already know, it will be cold tonight, and some people may need to use portable heaters. Please be very careful and never plug a portable heater into an extension cord, as this is extremely dangerous and can cause a fire. Stay safe.

My children grew up here in Southport, and about a year ago, they inspired me to write a children's book about all the things they loved about our little town. I wrote about everything from the Fourth of July festival to ferry rides, and even the Frying Pan restaurant where I first worked when we moved here. I've been struggling to think of some way I can help out during this extraordinarily difficult time, and I have decided that from now on, I will donate 100% of the profits from my book Southport Summers to the amazing organization Southport Cares
