What makes a custom home more comfortable and efficient, especially here on the North Carolina coast?

In Tank Talk Episode 10, Todd Tank sits down with Matt Mansfield from Mansfield Sales & Service Sales & Service at Walden Pond in Southport, NC. Together, they explain the HVAC system being installed in this custom SeaCoast home.

They cover:

• two-stage HVAC systems
• Variable-speed blowers
• Whole-house dehumidification
• Fresh-air ventilation
• Positive-pressure air handling
• Spray foam insulation
• Conditioned attic space
• Smart HVAC monitoring and remote diagnostics

Walden Pond is starting to show just how special this custom coastal home is going to be.

In Episode 9 of Tank Talk, Todd takes us inside for a closer look at the interior progress — from the home office, gym, sauna space, man cave, theater room, kitchen, dining room, and main living area to the lighting, AV, electrical, and low-voltage systems being built into the home.

The outdoor living area at Walden Pond is really coming together.

In Episode 8 of Tank Talk, Todd takes you through the custom shotcrete pool installation, starting with the initial dig and stone base, then moving on to the shotcrete application, glass tile, travertine coping, and finishing touches.

This pool is fully custom, not fiberglass, so the team can shape it to match the vision for this luxury coastal home.
