30 years later, the generous efforts of the local community still resonate. James Curran, the head of a local construction firm, selflessly donated his services to dismantle the carousel and rebuild it at Holyoke's Holyoke Heritage State Park. Not to be outdone, Timothy Murphy, a talented local architect, lent his expertise to design a faithful recreation of the original carousel pavilion. With their dedication, the ride galloped back to life, re-opening to the public on December 7, 1993.

In the first decade of operation, this magical carousel brought joy to over half a million riders, leaving them with unforgettable memories. Furthermore, its presence played a significant role in revitalizing the historic downtown area of Holyoke and boosting Massachusetts tourism.

It's incredible to reflect on the incredible impact that 30 years have made. The carousel continues to enchant visitors, providing a timeless experience that celebrates both community spirit and the rich heritage of Holyoke.
