This sprinkler valve diaphragm was done.
We pulled the bonnet and this is what was left. Crud built up around the seat, the rubber is stained and worn, and the valve was never going to seal right again. That is how you get a zone that weeps, will not shut off, or will not open when it should.
We replaced the diaphragm and clean the valve body so the zone shuts down tight and the system stops wasting water.

Hose bib replaced with a Woodford Model 19.
The old faucet was done. We installed a new frost-free Woodford 19 so this sill c**k can take winter and still shut off inside the wall where it belongs. Clean mount, proper support, and ready for a hose without another leak down the siding.
Woodford backs the Model 19 with a 5 year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship. If it is installed correctly and a defect causes damage, they also cover up to $5,000 toward the repair.
A cheap hose bib that weeps or will not drain is how you end up with ice, stains, and a cracked line. Replace it once and do it right.

Sprinkler timer checked and confirmed working.
We hooked our equipment to the controller and verified solid 24VAC from the clock. Green light on. The timer is sending power the way it should, so if a zone is down the problem is not the controller output.
Guessing at a dead zone wastes time. Testing the clock first tells us whether we are chasing a timer, a wire, or a valve.

New RPZ installed and ready to protect the water supply.
We set this reduced pressure zone assembly on the irrigation main so the property has proper backflow protection. This valve was chosen due to the extreme grade on this clients property making it the best solution to properly protect the community water supply!
Backflow prevention is not an upgrade. It is the barrier that keeps irrigation water from flowing back into the drinking water.

Poly to PVC main line repair, done the right way.
We dug this leak, cut out the failed section, and tied the poly main into PVC with proper fittings so the joint is tight, built to last, and the system was able to be turned back on quickly. Wet, muddy hole. No shortcuts. The system is back in service and the main is sealed.
Leaks on a sprinkler main do not fix themselves. The longer they run, the more they wash out the trench and waste water.

RPZ holding strong at 8 PSI.

Just completed a certified backflow test on this reduced pressure zone assembly. The gauge is locked in at 8 PSI, well above the minimum, which means the check valves are doing their part in keeping contaminated water out of the potable supply.
