Timberidge Plumbing & Heating, Inc. hopes you are all safe and well, and wishes to ensure our customers that we continue to have continuity plans in place to deliver uninterrupted service and support to customers as we navigate the uncertainty of this COVID-19 pandemic.
As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and the Directives put forth by our federal, state, and local leaders, we wanted you to know that we are continuing to provide our essential services in a safe and professional manner.
To protect our customers and our employees, we may ask some additional questions when you call us. By doing this, we can best understand how to equip our technicians in order to protect your health and safety as well as theirs.
All employees at Timberidge Plumbing & Heating, Inc. are screened when they arrive each morning, with health-related questions asked and temperatures taken, to ensure a healthy workplace environment. We have also required all our employees to notify us if they are sick or show any symptoms of COVID-19, and if so, we require them to seek medical attention and not return to work until cleared to do so.
We also want to be careful not to expose our essential workforce to any type of pathogens, so we ask that you inform us if anyone in your home is sick or medically compromised. This way we can determine the best course of action and determine what type of protective gear will be appropriate to accomplish our work.
Unfortunately, we are not properly equipped to enter a home where a patient is medically quarantined at this time, nor a home where a customer is self-quarantined due to being notified that they may have been exposed to COVID-19.
We will continue to provide our regular-hour services Monday through Friday along with our 24/7 service during this “shelter in place” order.
Our pledge to you - Our Technicians will:
• Wear a new set of protective gloves for every job.
• Wear shoe covers on every job when inside your home or business.
• Wear protective masks when around people and where applicable.
• Wear disposable suits when applicable or as required by company policy.
• Clean and sanitize the commonly-touched areas of the cab of their truck after every service call.
• Use hand tools that are cleaned and sanitized frequently each day.
• Practice “social distancing” and minimal intrusion into your home or place of business. We have asked our technicians not shake hands or have any direct contact with anyone while at your home or business, and to keep the recommended distance as much as is possible. We also thank you in advance for doing the same.
