Throwback Thursday!
We’re taking a look back at one of our past projects: the Starbucks facility in Minden, NV.
The project began in 2017 and was completed in 2018, with some impressive numbers along the way:
• 1+ million cubic yards of dirt moved
• Underground water, sewer, storm drain & dry utilities
• 8,000+ tons of asphalt paving
From site work to underground utilities and paving, this project was a great example of the scale and coordination that goes into bringing a facility from plans to completion.
We’re proud to look back at the work we’ve been a part of over the years!

🚧 4th Street Project Update

A little look back at where we started—and an update on where the project stands today!

This video captures progress from the end of July, when asphalt paving began on the north side of 4th Street. Since then, crews have continued making progress, with work now shifting to the south side of the roadway.

Here’s the latest update for this week:
• Asphalt paving is partially complete on the north side of the roadway
• Concrete crews are working to complete the northside multi-use path in the coming weeks
• Crews have moved to the south side, working from Stoker to Vine Street
• Roadway and concrete removal and installation are underway
• A new multi-use path will be constructed from Stoker to Keystone
• Storm drain improvements are in progress
• The southern portion of the new roundabouts is being installed
• Site lighting is expected to be reinstalled in the coming month
• The next phase of roadway work is anticipated to begin in mid-September

🚦 Traffic impacts: Drivers should expect narrow travel lanes and traffic switches as construction continues. For the most part, traffic will be traveling on the newly paved asphalt on the north side of the roadway.

This Centennial Gray blade isn't just eye-catching—it's a special piece of Caterpillar history. Released to commemorate 100 years of Caterpillar Inc., we've been told it's the only gray blade in Nevada.

While the color may turn heads, it's here for one reason: to get the job done. Keep an eye out for it on our projects—you just might catch it in action! 🚜

Community involvement is an important part of who we are at SNC.

Our team recently participated in the TJ Day Clay Shoot benefiting Scouting America, supporting programs that provide valuable opportunities and experiences for youth throughout our communities.
We're proud to invest in organizations that help develop future leaders and strengthen the communities where we live and work.

As an added bonus, our team brought home a 1st Place finish. Congratulations to everyone who participated and represented SNC so well.
