We can fly in Reno now! The FAA has launched its long anticipated Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) system at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO).

Affordable aerial mapping is now available in Reno! A new FAA approval system, LAANC, allows drones to be approved to fly commercially in Reno automatically

Earlier this summer, we successfully mapped the largest area ever attempted by commercial drone in Nevada. at 18,000 acres, or about 28 square miles.

Strix used drone tech to map an 18,000-acre mine exploration site, south of Elko, in the largest commercial drone mapping project ever completed in Nevada.
