I don’t get a lot of time to take pics of what we do on the daily but I can tell you that on this project we have put in literally miles of underground and utilities. It’s a river of pipe and conduit that most people would have no idea is there. On this site not only have we built the roads entirely and 100% of the heavy and light grading and erosion control we have also put in the storm drainage, sewer, underground electric as well as communication. Currently the first section of road is being paved and homes will be coming soon. It really means a lot to see a project come together and being a part of it from beginning to end.

So far the Cat 275 seems to be pretty legit. Take some getting used to but it’s definitely a tank and has tons of power campared to other machines it’s size.

How things are looking from the retention pond side of our project in East TN.

We are moving hills in the mountains. I haven’t had much of a chance to post about our development project in east TN but it is coming along nicely. We are on the last road section for subgrade and we will be doing storm drainage and lot grading very soon. It may not look like it from the pics but thousands of yards of material have been moved so far to construct these roads. Some of these roads are built up in excess of 10 feet in stretches. It has truly been a privilege to be apart of this development and see it take shape.

This past week we got some rain but we managed to finish burning up some remaining brush piles and got a start on cutting and building some sections of the roads to grade and compaction. Took just over a couple thousand yards just to build these first sections

Fly over of how the roads will be laid out on phase 1 of the subdivision we are working on. We removed just under 10,000 cubic yards of topsoil just from the roads. We are now cutting the roads to grade and starting to work on the retention pond.

I want to give a shout out to my guys for going the extra mile and putting in the work to get us past the next steps to completion on the next set of homes in Cane Creek Farms. They have put 100% effort into making these lots perfect. This week we graded out and sewn down 5 yards as well as completed 2 footers for new homes. Not bad for a Wednesday update if you ask me.
