GFCI outlets (those ones with the 'Reset' buttons) are your home's first line of defense in wet areas like kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and outdoors. But they don’t last forever!
Dave’s Homeowner Tip:
If your outlet is doing any of these, it’s time to pay attention:
✅ Won’t reset after you push the button.
✅ Trips repeatedly for no obvious reason.
✅ Feels warm to the touch or shows discoloration/cracks.
✅ Has been exposed to the Upstate humidity or direct moisture.
