Cannon Roofing was proud to team up with Neil Wilson, Dean Stageberg, and David Fey from Harper General Contractors to participate in the 27th Annual Billy L. Painter Memorial Golf Tournament benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg. This year’s tournament raised more than $108,000 to help transform our community one new home at a time.

Thank you to the Habitat Spartanburg team and everyone who made this event a success. We’re grateful to help build a stronger future for the city we call home!

At Cannon Roofing, we believe the best work comes from long-term partnerships, and our relationship with the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind is one we're especially proud of.

Over the years, our team has worked on multiple buildings across the SCSDB campus in Spartanburg, including the Coleman Building, Henderson Hall, Robertson Hall, the President's House, the Boiler Room, Hall Dorm, Spring Hall and, most recently, the Dean's House.

A campus with many buildings needs a roofing partner who knows each building's history and status, helps plan for what's ahead, and stands behind the work for years. That ongoing, consultative approach is what the Cannon difference is all about.

Thank you to SCSDB for your continued trust.

Spartanburg has been Cannon Roofing's home since 1951, so projects that serve our local students mean a little more.

At Wofford College, this past summer our team completed two roofing projects with two different needs: a new shingle roof for Greek Village featuring landmark shingles from QXO, and a fully adhered Johns Manville TPO roof for the Joe E. Taylor Center. Both were finished on schedule, ready to welcome Wofford students back to campus this fall.

We’re proud to play a part in providing top-notch facilities for students right here in our community.

A new roof is taking shape at The Country Club of Spartanburg! 🏗️

Our team is reroofing the clubhouse’s entire shingle portion with CertainTeed Landmark Moire Black shingles from Mid Atlantic Roofing and replacing the flat roofs with Johns Manville Commercial Roofing 60-mil PVC from MARS. The scope also includes new valley, apron and edge metal, with careful attention to the connections between shingle and flat roofs above key spaces like the kitchen and dining areas.

A project like this takes more than roofing know-how. It takes coordination to work around the club’s activities and schedule in order to minimize disruption and maintain a safe environment for all.

Work is ongoing, with completion planned for later this year. Stay tuned for the finished look!

Spartanburg Methodist College joins a growing portfolio of institutional projects completed by Cannon Roofing across the Upstate, including recent work at Wofford College and Converse University.

Bridges Hall, a residential building housing students throughout the academic year, required a full reroof including replacement of edge metal. The existing shingle system had reached the end of its serviceable life, and the college needed a solution that would provide long-term weather protection for the students and property inside. The Moore athletic complex project included both steep-slope shingle areas and flat or low-slope roof sections, each requiring a different roofing system and approach. Edge metal and step flashing needed full replacement on the shingle sections, while the flat roof areas required new edge metal across the entire surface along with new coping installation.

Educational projects like these share common elements such as complex scopes, timelines, and work in active environments demanding careful coordination. Cannon Roofing is proud to be the name university stakeholders trust when it comes to protecting their campuses and students.

Library Commons is one of the most visible and recognizable multi-family residential developments in downtown Spartanburg, SC. As a large-scale apartment complex managed by Aileron Management, LLC, the building demanded a roofing installation that could meet the performance requirements and logistical realities of a high-density residential community in the heart of a busy downtown.

Cannon Roofing was proud to partner with QXO and NB Handy to deliver a Johns Manville Commercial Roofing TPO system able to serve and protect the facility for years to come.

Great review from Jacob... "This was far beyond an ordinary interaction. I received a thoughtful and respectful response whenever I reached out, and nothing felt rushed or careless. The experience gave me plenty of confidence and left me feeling genuinely appreciated."
