Welcome to Yawning Dove. Offering wisdom and healings for the Soul. I currently reside in the beautiful Black Hills in South Dakota.

I have worked and lived in this area for over 30 years now. I reside with my husband near deadwood and we share our lives with our 4 beautiful grandchildren. We have 2 Labradors named Duke and Alice and a dove named Pidgy Widgy and we have a small parakeet named Echo. I began my spiritual awakening a 5 years ago and it led me to to path I walk now. This incredible journey has brought me to this chapter in my life. I feel extremely blessed and grateful for my new direction and follow my true calling of healing.

We often have deer resting in our garden, sometimes for hours. I love watching them. They seem so peaceful, so comfortable, as though they know they're somewhere safe.

And lately, that's exactly how I've been feeling. Wanting to be somewhere I can let my guard down, stop being strong for a while, and simply feel safe and at peace.

Sometimes we just need a place where we can be a little softer with ourselves. 💜
