Here is a shower,tub renovation we most recently completed. The old fiberglass surround had seen better days and the old cast iron tub was no longer wanted by the homeowners. This home also was built in the 1950’s and had no proper bath ventilation and a soffit above the tub that collected moisture and mold. After discussing it with the homeowner we removed the soffit and then were able to remove and replace an existing light with vent fan and built in light. We then properly vented the exhaust out the roof and not an eave. The biggest challenge was to match the new white 6 inch tile to meet up to the existing pink and black 4 inch tiles. By using a black trim strip this was able to be completed into a nice simple translation.

This was the largest project done in 2023 which was a porch rehab. The older tongue and groove boards were less than ten years old and had rotted out with the porch no longer being safe to walk on. After tearing off the old porch boards it was discovered the joists were original to the home and over a hundred years old, unfortunately through years of improper care and bad repairs they were also in need of replacement. The homeowner decided they wanted to stick with the original style of tongue and groove boards, so using primed boards for the porch and pressure treated lumber for everything else we were able to give this homeowner back their front porch to sit on and enjoy all while feeling safe and secure.

Hey and everyone who has supported me! We have officially been in business for a year! I want to thank everyone who has followed, liked, supported, and recommended me. Since just before thanksgiving I have been so busy it seems unreal. Well here soon I will be making a major announcement about the business and what is in store for year 2! Finally our own home has a dishwasher! Spent some time yesterday removing a cabinet and installing our new dishwasher as well as a garbage disposal and all new pipes under the sink. From removing the cabinet to installing the electrical it was all able to be done in one day!

We have been quite busy with no sight of slowing down! Here is an apartment we recently did some demo work in removing the old base cabinet, a broken door into the utility room and removed the carpet in the living room leading up the stairs and hallway, as well as removed the old laminate floor in the kitchen revealing the old vinyl floor.
