Meet the team behind Upgrade Handyman Service!
Hey Central MA! I'm Max, and this is my trusty sidekick Finn — the most important member of the crew. 🐾
I own and operate Upgrade Handyman Service right here in Spencer, MA — and behind every good man is an even better woman. My wife Abbey is my biggest supporter, and yes, she's the one who took this picture for me 😄
You may have seen my truck around Worcester County, or maybe a neighbor pointed us out after we finished their project. Either way, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself properly.
I went to Bay Path Regional Vocational High School in Charlton, MA, where I studied HVAC. Right out of graduation, I joined the Army and trained as a Combat Medic, eventually becoming an Army Nurse. From there, I spent 10 years working as a nurse in the civilian world while doing construction on the side — because I could never fully stay away from building things.
Eventually I decided to stop splitting my focus, bet on myself, and start doing home improvements full time. That's how Upgrade Handyman Service was born.
Today, Upgrade Handyman Service is a veteran-owned, Central MA operation taking on real projects with craftsmanship, honesty, and hometown pride. We specialize in:
