NEW SPENCERPORT BUILD

This client's existing deck was 40 years old and needed a major upgrade. She originally requested new boards and railings, but we quickly decided on a full rebuild. We don't put new boards on a failing frame. If we're putting our name on it, it's getting built right from the ground up.

Lattice wasn’t the move for this one. 🛠️

This Spencerport build features TimberTech Advanced PVC and solid wall skirting to give it a permanent, built-in look, making the deck feel like a natural extension of the home. To add definition, we used a darker accent color for all the trim and stair edges.

Since this is a full PVC build, you don't have to worry about mold or warping like you do with wood-based composites. The boards stay much cooler in the direct sun, and paired with the aluminum railings, the entire project is 100% low maintenance.

I couldn't have asked for better people to work for on this one. They always had a smile on their face, and I even got some homemade lemonade while working in the heat! 🍋 🥂

Always love looking back at this project. The colors fit the brick house perfectly, and that fastener-free surface creates such a clean look.

The premium aluminum railing was definitely the right call. It looks so classy compared to flimsy vinyl, and it feels rock solid. Plus, that drink rail is a game changer when you're actually using the space.
