Last year the weather didn't help our seedings. Here is some seed germinating this spring, from a seeding last fall. Sometimes the seed waits until conditions are right for germination.

Be on the look out for snow mold. Brown spots with reddish or pinkish fungus. Our fertilizer with organic materials, soil amendments, raking, fungicide, and seeding if needed will help.
