Taking down a hazard, one piece at a time!

Ryan is hard at work removing a dead Austrian pine. As trees decline, they can become a safety risk, with weakened branches or unstable trunks that may fail unexpectedly. Safe removal requires skill, experience, and careful planning, especially when working high above the ground.

We're proud of the expertise our arborists bring to every job, helping keep properties safe while maintaining the health and beauty of the landscape.

Do you have a tree that you're concerned about? Whether it's dead, declining, or showing signs of damage, our Certified Arborists can help. Give Bartlett Tree Experts a call at (509) 892-0110 to schedule a tree inspection or consultation today!

With the stunning Spokane Falls as a backdrop, it might take a moment to spot our arborist at work! 🌊🌳

Kyle is carefully removing a dead Norway maple that was hanging over the cliff above the falls. Jobs like this require experience, precision, and a strong focus on safety to protect both the public and the surrounding environment.

No matter how beautiful the view, safety always comes first.

🌳πŸ’ͺ Giving Back to the Tree Care Community! πŸ’ͺ🌳

A big shoutout to our Bartlett team members Lyle Feilmeier, Taylor Duke, Rob Case, Kevin Carr, Andrew Maze, and Matt Brown for volunteering at the Puget Sound Tree Climbing Championship (TCC) held at Les Gove Park in Auburn, WA.

It was an incredible opportunity to support and witness the outstanding climbing talent showcased throughout the PNW ISA Chapter. We're proud to be part of an industry that values skill, safety, and continuous learning while helping foster the next generation of arborists.

πŸ”₯🌲 Wildfire Recovery: Helping Your Trees Heal 🌲πŸ”₯

Wildfires can leave trees stressed and vulnerable, but the right care can improve their chances of recovery.

βœ… Water Wisely – Deep, slow watering during dry periods helps support damaged root systems and reduce stress.

βœ… Mulch the Root Zone – Add 2-4 inches of organic mulch around the base of the tree, keeping it away from the trunk, to help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.

βœ… Avoid Pruning Immediately – Wait until the tree has had time to recover. Premature pruning can add more stress and make it harder for the tree to heal.

βœ… Watch for Signs of Decline – Excessive needle or leaf loss, cracks in the trunk, fungal growth, or dead branches may indicate the tree needs professional attention.

βœ… Be Patient – Trees often take several growing seasons to show the full effects of wildfire damage, whether they're recovering or declining.

Not sure if your trees will make it? An ISA Certified Arborist can evaluate wildfire damage and recommend the best course of action to help protect your property and preserve your landscape.
