🔨 Bathroom Tile Rebuild — Before ➜ After

This bathroom came to us after someone else attempted to install the shower. We were hired by a general contractor to tear out the problem areas and rebuild the tile work the right way.

Our scope on this project:

✔️ Removed a previous failed shower
✔️ Re-set and leveled the shower pan
✔️ Rebuilt the stub (knee) wall
✔️ Installed proper subfloor to support the tile
✔️ Fully waterproofed the shower and bathroom floor
✔️ Installed all shower tile and floor tile
✔️ Patched sheetrock at the base of the room
✔️ Textured the ceiling to blend with existing finishes

The general contractor handled final finishes like shower glass, paint, vanity, and fixtures.

These photos show real before-and-after progress — from exposed framing and subfloor to a clean, waterproof, professionally tiled space.

New doors appear to be the current trend. I've recently worked with multiple clients who required new exterior and interior doors, and we successfully completed the projects. One client had a door that was no longer sealing properly and disliked the window. We replaced the door, ensuring a proper seal just in time for winter. Additionally, we replaced the brick molding around another door and rebuilt their crawlspace door that had swollen due to moisture.

It has been a busy couple of weeks! We made another trip over to Anacortes for phase 2 of a commercial remodel. This trip involved replacing all door casings and a desk cap with new stained wood as well as painting the entire interior of the office in a two-tone of white and the company blue. Before painting, we also had to patch some drywall along the floor and around some windows due to moisture from previous window leaks.

This was one of the largest projects we’ve taken on but got a lot done! The client is happy with the outcome and we will be making a third trip back sometime to paint the doors and finish some miscellaneous tasks.

We recently finalized a shed-to-office conversion project, which encompassed framing adjustments, insulation installation, drywall setup and finishing, roof modifications, flooring, baseboards, custom door alterations, and installation of a mini-split system. In collaboration with electricians, we ensured power supply to the shed and completed the remaining tasks. It was an exciting project to be involved in!

Our company has recently completed a small commercial project in Anacortes, involving the replacement of 13 water damaged window sills with new stained window sills and trim. We typically do not travel far for projects, but we did for this client. The stain turned out great and we applied privacy film to 11 windows. We are currently looking for suitable winter projects.

A client recently discovered mold when replacing their carpet. A mold remediation crew removed various items including closet jambs, a bedroom door, molding pieces, and sheetrock sections. I was then contracted to restore the area to its original condition.

This project entailed patching sheetrock, constructing new closet jambs, building an interior door jamb, and matching existing trim, molding, and flooring. Additionally, I hung bifold closet doors and an interior door.

Painting services were provided by Greg Efron Painting, and photos were taken mid-project.
