One of our favorite parts of trim is how much of a slight style adjustment changes the look and feel inside of a home.

The first photo shows a modern, clean-lined Craftsman trim. It’s wider, sharper, and instantly more updated. The second photo has the older, rounded colonial trim that a lot of homes still have. Same idea (it frames the door), but the look is totally different.

If you’re wanting a quick way to make your home feel newer without doing a full remodel, updating the trim is one of the easiest upgrades.
