🍎 Fruit with a view! 🔭 This chainlink project in was necessary to protect these fruit trees from becoming victims of the local deer population 🦌 🍒. We used 7ft material and buried the perimeter roughly 6~12” all the way around to help keep out the marmots 🦫 and groundhogs. We used 12ft posts driven to 6ft depth because there was no way concrete was making it down that hill!

Check out this modern farm-house fence in Deer Park. They don’t make ‘em like they used to!

Usually we don’t reuse material, but these galvanized wire panels had been on the property for decades and carry sentimental value, plus the patina adds the perfect rustic charm. Paired with matte-black-painted cedar rails on steel posts, these old wire panels got a full makeover and will be spending their remaining decades in style as the new entry for this rural property.

This style of panel fence can be built to various heights and they also work great as mini-vineyards! The steel posts (hidden by cedar pickets) are driven deep and built-to-last, so your fence will stay looking great for years to come!

At the end of the day, it’s a plastic fence and there’s only so many things that can be done to make it stronger - but we do ALL of the things to give you the strongest plastic fence available.

-Steel posts driven to 5ft+ depth for increased strength, higher wind-load rating, and ease of repair.
-Steel rail reinforcement screwed into top and bottom rails to prevent any sagging.
-Top rail locks instead of just screws which can pull out and damage the post.
-U-channels screwed in to prevent pickets from warping over time (we even pull them off to de-burr/remove excess vinyl and reinstall which prevents unsightly gaps where light passes through).
-and a dab of caulk on the caps so you’re not chasing them down after every wind storm.
-Power-wash and spot-cleaning after install because installing fences is always dirty work, even when we don’t have to dig!

Check out the video in the comments of the gate hardware in action. By utilizing gravity-hinges and a two-way auto-latch, this fence is designed to stay shut. Another cool feature of the gravity-hinges is that they pivot slightly when opening, which allowed this gate to clear the uphill slope in the walkway. “Normal” hardware would have resulted in the gate only being able to swing one direction, but since we are pros - we know where to get the good stuff to ensure the best user experience and overall function. Combined with a custom-modified Sure-Latch Jr two-way auto-close latch - those puppies will stay safe and secure, regardless of who let the dogs out!🐶 🐾 🐕 🎉

Some fence posts need a little bit more persuasion than others, especially when the property happens to be situated just a few streets away from a rock quarry. This was technically still a “no-dig” installation, but there was a whole lot of drilling, and then posts were driven / wedged in to 30~36” depth. Usually we shoot for 60” in ideal conditions, but +30” in solid granite is more than plenty for this small privacy vinyl add-on.
