Winter is soon upon us please take time to do your winter home maintanance we love the work but like to avoid prevetable damages!!!

Here are some tips for winterizing your home:
Clean gutters: Rain can damage your home's foundation and walls if gutters aren't cleaned.
Insulate pipes: Wrap exposed pipes with towels or foam insulation to reduce the risk of freezing.
Inspect your roof: Check for damaged shingles and remove debris from your roof and gutters.
Install a programmable thermostat: (this can help you save money especially if you have an old dial unit), Customize your heating schedule for efficiency, even when you're away.
Reverse ceiling fans: In the winter, rotate your ceiling fan clockwise to push warm air back down.
Add weather stripping: Weather stripping can help keep cold drafts out and lower your energy bills.
Disconnect hoses: Water in hoses can freeze when temperatures drop below 32°F. Use foam covers on your hose bibs to help insulate spiggots even frost free.
Replace filters: Replace your furnace filters to improve performance, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.
Test detectors: Test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, its a good Idea to replace batteries once a year as the are cheap and can save you from potential hazards!
