We had the honor yesterday of celebrating the opening of Kadlec's new Candy Mountain Primary Care Clinic in West Richland. To think our first project with Kadlec was thirty-six years ago! As Bouten Vice President Brandon Potts said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, while a lot has changed since 1990, "the importance of investing in our community, of building places that matter and relationships that last, certainly hasn’t."

Today, Kootenai Health and MultiCare Health System broke ground on the Prairie Medical Campus in Post Falls. This 30-acre, multi-phase development represents one of the largest recent health care investments in northern Idaho.⁠

Phase one will include a micro-hospital with a 12-room emergency department, advanced imaging services, and overnight patient rooms. A multi-story medical office building will also open with clinic offices, lab services, and space for future growth.⁠

This collaboration will allow us to deliver the services this community needs, rapidly expanding access to care in one of the fastest-growing regions in the Northwest.⁠
