I recently had the opportunity to travel to the countries of Israel and Jordan. As I was touring these sites the architect in me keep thinking about the uniqueness of each place. What was it that brought such a special feeling to each of these places? Was it the beauty of the structures? How about the landscaping or setting of each place? Maybe it was the value of human lives that have impacted these particular areas. Was it a combination of each of these? Places in our lives are special for many reasons. Take the time to "stop and smell the roses" occasionally and think about your favorite place, then post a picture of that place. I would be interested in knowing why a certain place is special to you. Below are just a few pictures of the cities of Jarash, Petra and Madaba, all in Jordan. I will post images of Israel later. I hope you enjoy!

25 Years ago today I began this crazy idea of Steven Meek Architects. April Fools Day seemed an appropriate point to begin that journey. Through the ups and downs of the world of real estate our firm has survived many twists and turns, but we continue to flourish today. That is primarily due to the number of extremely talented and dedicated men and women that have walked this journey with me. Thank you to each one of you.

It is amazing how short a time frame 25 years is. It sounds like forever, but it is here in the blink of an eye. While I don't know exactly what the next 25 years looks like, we are working on some of our most exciting projects ever and we are pumped about all the new opportunities arriving at our doorstep.

Thank you to all that have supported and encouraged us along the way. We are looking forward to many more years serving you and your community.
