We had a great first day at the National Precast Concrete Association show in Kansas City. We enjoyed talking to some of our good friends and vendors who were on the floor today, including those at Pennsylvania Insert Corporation, pictured below with some of AC Miller's finest. We hope to speak with even more of you tomorrow, and we're so excited to see and do everything the show has to offer!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Gary Stec, who dedicated 50 wonderful years to A.C. Miller Concrete Products, retiring in April of 2025. Gary was a devoted family man, active member and bartender at the Polish Club, member of the American Dream Corvette Club, and a diehard Eagles fan. He also enjoyed a shot of Crown Royal!

One employee noted that Gary always ended every phone call by saying, “no problem, pal;” a true friend to all, he will be dearly missed by all of us in the A.C. Miller community.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his three children, Gary Jr., Brigitte, and Travis; siblings Richard and Mary; grandchildren Annelise, Finnegan, and Addisynn; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Nikko.

AC Miller Concrete Products, a family-owned business, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to learn and grow with our Company!

Our Inside Sales Representative sells corporate products to utility companies, businesses and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone or in person.

Responsibilities:
• Become proficient with and responsible for quoting, order processing and follow-through of the following:
o Adjustable form vaults
o Pump stations
o Trench
o Custom slabs
o Pre-piped Pits
• Makes outbound follow-up calls by telephone and/or e-mail to qualified leads in order to sell products and services
• Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales and overflow on custom fixed vaults
• Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers
• Provides product information to qualified customers, utility companies and engineers on request
• Develops and maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of both corporate and facility specific product lines; manufacturing capabilities and procedures; utility company standards; distribution capabilities; estimating policy; pricing policy; and other policies and procedures
• Reads and interprets contract drawings and specifications
• Prepares take offs and price estimates for products meeting the requirements of contract drawings and specifications
• Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and processes sales orders for orders obtained
• Tracks all quotes and/or contacts successful bidders of projects where our products and services can be applied until all material has been officially purchased
• Makes every effort to promote the use of A.C. Miller Concrete’s products and services in lieu of all other alternates
• Processes all necessary documents for order processing, engineering, customer service, production and transportation
• Tracks stock levels
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on customer needs and knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules
• Prepares reports of business transactions in accordance with corporate procedures
• Works with Sales Manager and Outside Sales Representatives to keep account activities and literature up-to-date.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships.
• Prepare and send sales order acknowledgements to customers
• Assist Customer Service Department as needed
• Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
• Knowledge of all products and function as back-up for Sales Team
