I see a lot of blades come in. Most haven't been touched in quite a long time but There is always something you can tell from them....Just how "short" you are cutting your grass. Not how tall because some folks are swinging dirt and rocks. LOL

I'll make it simple because we could go on and on about it.
Cutting too low basically, kills your grass. With shallow roots, it really cant store that energy and nutrition it needs to grow green. Dies out and looks Bad.

Blades, it really does a number on them. Loose the edge you need to cut nice and clean. Your rider and push mower, take on alot too. Strains the engine that can cause seal issues, bearing issues and more.

A good height to cut is 3"-3 1/2 inches. Even 4 is good. Yea, no one wants to cut all the time but lets face it, when it rains, regardless, you are cutting once a week.

Have a great weekend!!!

Here is something to take note about! I got really irritated at a company that carries parts from a small tractor from 1940s to current. They are the " go to" for those mowers. I call, give them the model and the exact ser # on the mower. They tell me that not correct. I even showed them it was their stamp. Still no go. All I needed was blades. They acted like they wouldn't help, so Billy goes to google... spends some time and finds the oem part number. Call them back and yea, they got plenty. They should have known for one, asked questions about the size and found it.

Heres the deal. We will go over and above to find what you need. I will spend what time I need and do all I can to help you. Most places, WILL NOT do that and your equipment will sit for months at a time. So keep that in mind and come see us or reach out.

Thanks and have a GREAT weekend!
