If you want your lawn to look as good as some of my clients, then core aeration is the next step you need to set your lawn apart from your neighbors. Core aeration allows air and water into the soil in greater volumes, and allows existing roots to spread farther and become stronger, making your grass thicker and greener. Take a look at some of the lawns that I aerate each year.

Cutting 3 week old sod has proved to be pretty difficult, our first week we took it down from 9 inches to 3-3/4 inches, each week we have made progress and on our third week we were able to get it down to 3-1/2 inches, our recommended lawn height for blue grass. Long enough to protect the roots of the lawn and short enough to have a eye pleasing cut!

I couldn’t be happier with the progress we are making with our customers lawns, we’ve changed our cutting heights on virtually every lawn to keep them higher, which allows for less damage from the sun. Our lawns are looking greener than ever.
