As we get closer to cooler weather and color-changing leaves, this warm, deep orange is giving all the Fall vibes and I'm here for it 🧡 If you aren't afraid to go bold, this hue would make any space feel extra cozy and welcoming!

Another Trex + Avalon beauty in the books this summer! 🤩

Tyler forgot to take before pictures, but that's ok because it's the after that we're all looking at, right? 😉

How gorgeous are these colors together?! And they compliment the rest of the house beautifully!

This homeowner also wanted something a little different than the lattice that you usually see on the bottom face of these decks, so our wonderful local Spring Grove Lumber hooked us up with some color matched composite to match the Trex deck boards!

The Sherwin-Williams Color of the Month for July is Liveable Green (SW 6176).

Another nicely muted green that could just about be considered neutral- check out those fun coordinating hues! If you've been around for a while then you know I'm a sucker for muted greens 🤩 We used 3 different ones in our house and I love each and every one! I'm a big fan of color, but I don't want it to scream at me when I walk in the room, ya know? This one is fun because it has more of a warm/yellow undertone to it ☀️ If you're looking for a fun, new paint color but don't want it be too overwhelming, Liveable Green just might be that color!

Today the greatest nation in the world celebrates 250 years of freedom! 🇺🇸

It's a day to remember that freedom isn't free. This country was built on sacrifice and because of the many brave men and women who have risked their lives every day since, we get to remain free in this land that we love.

Our family would like to thank the soldiers who are currently fighting, those who have, and the ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Happy Birthday, America! 🦅

Last week at Big T's:
• Demoed a deck
• Re-framed new deck for Trex
• Tyler and the boys fixed a fascia cover that had blown off in the wind
• Built a new Trex deck with RDI Avalon Aluminum railings
• Bryson popped a tire on his four-wheeler so the guys at Lee Auto got it fixed for him!
• Went to the The Mighty Howard County Fair ✌🏻 days in a row! 🎡
• Some of our faves were:
• Rides!
• Walking through the livestock barns
• Checking out the Wildlife Center
• The kids had a blast playing at the new Grandpa Tom's Barne with their cousins and Grandpa Darin & Grandma Chelle 🥰
• Funnel cake, cotton candy & snow cones of course
• Fave food trucks: The Hungry Ginger Food Truck, Eat My Bloomers, Moo Mobile, and Kylie’s Lemonade
• We also hit up the Trinity Catholic School booth and got a Polashek's brat and pork sandwich! This has been a yearly tradition for Kylie since she was a kid! 😏
• Cleaned cattle pens, chicken coops and feeders/waterers before the heat hit 🥵

• Picked strawberries at WOLD STRAWBERRIES
• Made strawberry jam and strawberry syrup
• Hit up BBQ night at Fat Pat’s Brewery & Catering and tried out the dessert- it was amazing!
• Grabbed a Father's Day gift at Emerald Lane
• Went to Toy Story 5 at Spring Grove Cinema 🥹
