Customer is having a new stoop installed and the concrete company stumbled across a cast iron cleanout while digging for their gravel foundation. We suggested they have us extend the riser (vertical pipe used to gain access to an underground drain) to be even with the new stoop using the proper material rather than leave it buried. As it turned out they had already received a couple estimates at the time they contacted us, which fell into the exact price range we informed them most companies would charge... but we were able to provide them the same service for a whopping 70%-75% less then the first three estimates they had received! Now they're good to pour concrete and they'll have a new cleanout station they can use to maintain the flow of their sewerline!
