Aloha! A lot of people wonder what happens when you’ve got thunderstorms on your normal service day… we do our best to prepare our technicians with rain gear and towels but when we have lightning in the area, their safety comes first. Sticking a giant metal pole into your pool with lightning around wouldn’t be the smartest thing 😉
During times of inclement weather when we can’t service a pool, we update our customers via text or email. There are times when we have less than ideal weather conditions but we may still be able to do some things for your pool. We will do everything we can to ensure the pool can continue to safely run for you. We will attempt to empty your pump baskets and skimmers, check chemicals, and treat it as best as we can given the scenario. We do our very best to watch the radar to wait it out or circle back if we can, but there are some times when it’s just not possible for us to do a complete full service cleaning. In those rare cases we must respect Mother Nature and just spend a little more time the next week.
