A WEEKEND THAT FILLED THE CUP. ❤️
Two communities. Two very different events. One beautiful reminder of what can happen when people choose to show up for one another.
At ARTFest on Main, we celebrated what people can create — art, music, beauty, conversation and connection. At the Lebanon Hope Walk, we gathered for something much heavier: shining a light on human trafficking, protecting the vulnerable, supporting survivors, and standing against an evil that too often remains hidden.
One celebrated the beauty of humanity. The other fought for it.
There was something deeply moving about experiencing both in the same weekend.
Community isn’t only gathering when life is easy. It’s celebrating what is good while also having the courage to confront what isn’t. It’s creating beauty where we can, bringing light into dark places, caring for our neighbors, and remembering that every person has value.
Maybe these weren’t two entirely different events after all.
Maybe both were simply people coming together, each in their own way, trying to bring a little bit of heaven to earth.
We’re grateful to the organizers, artists, advocates, churches, first responders, volunteers, sponsors, families and everyone who showed up and gave a piece of themselves to both communities this weekend.
Thank you for letting us be a small part of it. ❤️
