Good news 🤗 Reids procedure went amazing yesterday! The doctor’s concerns on what they were seeing on recent imaging turned out to be unusual mapping of the arteries in Reids brain that required a bit more of an invasive test to determine. We figured if anyone was going to have a unique brain, it would be Reid. 😌 He will still be on light duty for a while but is one step closer to returning to work and taking care of people. Thank you all so so much for the outpour of prayers and support! Thank you to the awesome doctors and medical team at CoxHealth who have taken such great care of Reid and being so careful to make sure he makes a full recovery! ❤️
Update on Reid August 4th:
Continued prayers are appreciated!! Reid is a little over 3 months out of his accident and the doctors are amazed with how well he’s doing. He had a follow up on his leg and it is pretty much healed. He is cleared for full use of his leg and is to drive. He’s still not cleared to return to work but we know that day is coming.
Reid goes in tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5th, for a cerebral arteriogram – the neurologist wants to do some further testing on how the injuries in his neck and head are healing. While the procedure for the doctors are very normal, I know for Reid and us it is still scary. We ask for prayers that the test goes perfectly and the results show he continues to be our walking, little miracle.
Thank you to everyone for the letters, the text messages, phone calls…. We are truly blessed to have such amazing customers and friends! Reid is so surprised and humbled by the amount of people who have reached out caring and concerned about him. 💙
