This one was an unfinished basement/utility space, and we gave it a clean open-ceiling look with a black finish. A lot of people ask about dryfall in spaces like this, but when the ceiling height isn’t there, it usually makes more sense to just spray it with paint. Dryfall is designed to dry and turn to dust before it hits the floor, but it needs enough fall distance to actually work the way it’s supposed to. If you don’t have the height, you’re better off using the right paint, masking it properly, and getting it done clean.
