A little business philosophy from Finley River Handyman.
Every now and then we’re asked, “Can you just cover it up?” or “Can you just do the minimum?”
The answer is simple: No.
Whether it’s mold, fungal growth, water damage, rotten wood, structural issues, or anything else that could affect the safety and health of a family, we believe in fixing problems the right way—not the cheapest way, not the fastest way, and definitely not in a way that leaves the next homeowner holding the bag.
If we put our name on a project, we want to be proud of it. That means addressing the cause, not just the symptom. It means telling customers the truth, even when it’s not what they want to hear. And it means sleeping well at night knowing we didn’t pass a problem on to someone else’s family.
Our reputation is built on honesty, quality workmanship, and treating every home as if our own family was moving into it next.
Do it right. Do it once. Stand behind it.
That’s the Finley River Handyman way.
This is a real text message about fungal remediation where a seller said they just needed it fixed the cheapest and quickest and whatever happens after the closing date is the next person or families problem. Oh, and don’t forget if they have to they’ll just go down there and use bleach to fix it because somewhere in the homeowner manual people think bleach fixes mold when it doesn’t.
